The Oast

"Our second stay in the Oast House within a year, and was as lovely as the first! Went to the opera at Glyndebourne, were overwhelmed by The Pavillion at Brighton and loved the gardens at Nymans. Marvellous place to be." (V Family, Netherlands.)

The Oast House, unique to the original hop producing regions of the South East, dates from 1638 and has some exceptional exposed timbering. The roundel, once used for drying hops now provides the circular sitting room and principal bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms and the luxury small shower room, together with the well equipped kitchen and dining area with sliding French window to the south facing patio, makes the Oast excellent for the younger family previously quoted by those seeking 'a relaxing holiday' with 'wildlife on the doorstep & lots to do in Sussex'. Televisions both in the living area and the main bedroom, and free WiFi connection. Sorry no pets, or children under 5.
