The Oast House
“A very special place”
The Oast House, unique to the original hop producing regions of the South East, dates from 1638 and has some exceptional exposed timbering.
The hall has access to the WC and leads to the well-equipped kitchen and dining area (seats 6) with a sliding French window which leads onto the south-facing patio. The roundel, once used for drying hops now provides the circular sitting room with two armchairs, a sofa and television. The circular area also includes the principal bedroom, which has a 5’ bed, a television and an en-suite bathroom. There are two more bedrooms, a second double with a 4’6” bed and a single room with a 3’ bed, along with a luxury small shower room.
Previous guests that have stayed at The Oast House describe ‘a relaxing holiday’ with ‘wildlife on the doorstep & lots to do in Sussex’.
