The Bull & Cart Lodge
The Bull Pen and Cart Lodge, originally two detached period farm buildings, linked by an entrance hall, has the accommodation on one floor (some steps) to include spacious and airy rooms with vaulted timbered ceilings. Entrance is from the south-facing patio into the inner hall, which connects to the well-equipped kitchen with dining table through to the Cart Lodge.
The Byre, originally used for housing cattle, has been thoughtfully converted to retain a number of original features. Enter into the hall (with access to the WC) which leads to a large living area, which has a Jotul gas log burner in an Inglenook fireplace and double French windows that open onto the south-facing patio.
The Granary occupies a commanding position with a wide south-facing patio enjoying panoramic views. The largest of the cottages, it has with vaulted ceilings throughout (some unique timbering to a number of rooms). It is both spacious and luxurious. The entrance hall leads to the WC and a large sitting room and dining area.
The Oast House
The Oast House, unique to the original hop producing regions of the South East, dates from 1638 and has some exceptional exposed timbering.
