The Bull Pen and Cart Lodge, originally two detached period farm buildings, linked by an entrance hall, has the accommodation on one floor (some steps) to include spacious and airy rooms with vaulted timbered ceilings. Entrance is from the south-facing patio into the inner hall, which connects to the well-equipped kitchen with dining table through to the Cart Lodge. This provides the large living/dining area and incorporates a personal office space if required. The Master bedroom has a 6’ zip and link bed (which can be converted into singles on request) with an adjacent Shower & W.C.

Outside there is a private south-facing patio terrace with seating.

Amazing, peaceful and tranquil

Thank you so much for such an amazing, peaceful and tranquil setting for our first family holiday with out 18wk old son! We really needed to get away from it all and The Bull Pen & Cart Lodge was perfect. Every morning we fed the ducks who waddle right up to the doors and take bread from your fingers! The specification of the cottage is very high as is the welcome brochure. The Merrie Harriers pub is friendly and the food is amazing. Great places to visit close by – we will be back to try one of the other cottages!
